Briar McKenzie is a visiting postdoctoral research fellow investigating the relationship between diet and brain health, with a focus on the dietary component of the NZPEGS. She is a Senior Research Fellow and Accredited Practicing Dietitian at The George Institute for Global Health, and a Conjoint Lecturer at UNSW.

Her research is supported by a Postdoctoral Fellowship from the National Heart Foundation of Australia, and spans two main areas:

  • Diet and brain health
  • Evaluation of noncommunicable disease policies
