Thesis Working Title: Psychotropic medication use in Parkinson’s disease

I received my Masters degree in psychology from the University of Canterbury in 2013. Between 2013 and 2019 I worked as an analyst at Pegasus Health PHO. Through my job at Pegasus Health I utilised several Ministry of Health, Canterbury District Health Board and general practice datasets to provide knowledge on specific populations and to inform evidence-based health care. My PhD research will investigate the extent of use of medications used for the treatment of neuropsychiatric symptoms in Parkinson’s disease in New Zealand and to model how the use of these medications influence the severity and progression of Parkinson’s disease.
